Local Music Salor, Sor, Sueng

Pho Khru Chailanka Kruesane, a national artist on performing arts, is expert on pin (or Sueng) and Salor (Sor.) He can make musical instrument and compose songs and rhythm. Another local artist, Pho Khru Khampai Nuping, sings the acclaimed song titled Sor Long Nan, which recounts the history of Nan. A legend tells that, when Phraya Karn Mueang moved along the Nan river from Wora Nakorn in Pua to settle down at Phu Phiang Chae Haeng, Pu Khamma and Ya Khampi entertained the people with their impromptu song accompanied with Pin and Salor music.
