          The city occupies a huge area of 11,472.076 Km2, or approximately 7.17 millions rai. Geographically, Nan is a border city which 80% of the area is nestled between mountain ranges paralleled along the east and the west sides lying from north to south. There is 277-kilometer Luang Prabang
